SURF WATCH!!
Deep low pressure in the Atlantic looks set to produce some good long range swell. This chart right now is swell producing and we should see some good period waves from this depression starting to show on Tuesday. Fingers crossed the local winds will be favourable when the swell arrives. At the moment the forecast has a ridge of high giving us reativerly light SE winds for Tuesday - lets hope it get better not worse. Fingers crossed!!!!
Depending on the path the Low pressure takes will directly effect the quality of the surf over the coming week. Some of the predictions are for the low to track North out of our direct swell window. However this will still produce good surf but not a 'direct hit' as it will have to wrap and propergate around southern island slowing the swell and taking some puch out of it.
Hopefully looking like a reasonable week for waves with and without been over optimistic some light offshore winds at times.
