The Xcel Axis range is the ideal wetsuit for someone after plenty of stretch and comfort but in need of something cheaper than the top of the range wetsuits. The Axis has serval of the exclusive features in the xcel range, The texured skin on the front and back of the suit help eliminate the wind chill and keep your core temperature warm as well as lined with the quick dry lining to help reduce weight and make it a more comfortable lining against the skin of your body. The ultrastretch neoprene is same as the Infiniti range allowing maximium flex when doing your watersports, being glued and blindstitched it stops water coming in through the seams allowing the suit to stay lighter, warmer and perform in the way a top of the range wetsuit would.
Offaxis recommend the Axis range is ideal for anyone after something as flexible and comfortable as a high end wetsuit but with a more much desirable price tag! We use the 3/2mm axis range ln the height of summer when the water is warm and we dont need all the whistles and bells like the fusion welded tape and TDC lining. The Axis is still one of the most popular suits for the wakeboarders and surfers who just want something comfortable and simple, they can ride all day in and stay warm and happy!
Picking The Right Wetsuit For You
Thickness, style and size are the 3 key points we tell all our customers who are in need of wetsuit, add in a budget and
you have a winning combination to find the perfect wetsuit best suited to you!
Offaxis recommend choosing the right thickness for you depends on your geographical location and when you will be using the
wetsuit the most. This wetsuit is a 3/2mm, which means 3mm panels of neoprene from the legs up through the torso and
2mm of neoprene down the arms. The benefit of this is that you get the flex in the arms but maintain the warmth in the
core of you body when it comes to doing your watersports. Here in the UK we recommend a 3mm wetsuit is ideal from
early June as the water temperatures are starting to warm up especially if and the sun starts shining, all the way through
to late September if the season has been nice and water temperatures are still up! Here in Wales the 3/2mm wetsuits are
very popular for summer watersports.
When it comes to choosing the right size wetsuit it is very important to get the fit correct. If your suit doesn't fit right it will not do the right job! Offaxis recommend your suit ideally should fit like your second skin and feel comfortable
to wear. If your suit is too large air and water will fill in the gaps and cool your body down very quickly. If the wetsuit
is too tight then it will be uncomfortable to wear and you will put stress on the seams which will stretch and damage
the wetsuit. Take a peek at the
